 | The Boat: S/V Third Coast |
The sailing vessel for our Lake Michigan cruises is the beautiful Third Coast, a great sailing Hunter Legend 37.5.
S/V Third Coast takes the waves and weather very well, and is a very easily sailed vessel, and a great sailboat to learn to sail on.
S/V Third Coast is very well equipped with many updated safety features, new navigation and marine communications electronics, new stereo system, and new sailing rigging. She has a head (bathroom for the landlubbers), fully equipped galley, refrigerator/freezer, running water, and has a very reliable inboard Yanmar engine.
S/V Third Coast meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard standards, regulations, and guidelines to be a charter sailing vessel. She is inspected annually and certified to meet stringent standards for sailing charter vessels by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
